Next UEF Presidency Meeting and Round Table Meeting with EUSTAFOR in Brussels in March

The UEF Presidency will be in Brussels at the begining of March 2016.

The Presidency will attend a Presidency Meeting Monday 7 of March on the topics of the moment, including the next UEF Governing Council Meeting in Denmark.

And Tuesday, 8 of March, a Round Table Meeting will be organized with forest partners and organizations as usual, in cooperation with EUSTAFOR, in the European Forestry House in Brussels.

The topic will be "Bioenergy and biomass from forestry".

”Bioenergy and biomass from forestry”

UEF and EUSTAFOR are pleased to invite you to participate

in a Round Table Meeting on 

Tuesday, 8 March 2016, at 12:00 – 14:00 o´clock.

Forests play an invaluable role in tackling many of today’s challenges. During the informal lunch meeting we would like to discuss and share experiences on the topic of "Bioenergy and biomass from forestry".

 

Two keynote presentations will open the discussion:

 

1. Bioenergy in the framework of the EU Forest Strategy and its Forest MAP –

Ms. Maria Gafo-Gomez-Zamalloa (DG Agri)

 

1. Role of biomass from forestry in the future EU energy policy and consequences for wood based industries -
   Mr Jeremy Wall (DG Growth)

 

During the informal discussion lunch will be offered.

 

We hope that the topic of this Round Table Meeting is of interest to you
