FOREST EUROPE Expert Level Meeting in Bratislava 19-20 March 2019

The next Forest Europe Expert level meeting will be held in Slovakia in Bratislava, 19 and 20 March 2019.

UEF will attend this meeting, represented by Tomasz Markiewicz, our UEF vice president.

The draft agenda is the following one:
1. Opening of the meeting
2. Adoption of the agenda
3. Preparation of the Eight Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe 3.1 Preliminary information on the date, venue and possible format of the Ministerial Conference as well as preparatory process until the Conference
3.2  Possible inputs from the FOREST EUROPE work stream “Protection of forests in a changing environment including their adaptation to climate change” 
3.3 Possible input from the FOREST EUROPE work stream “Future direction of the FOREST EUROPE process”
3.4 Possible inputs from the other work streams
4. Further information on implementatıon of the Work Programme 
5. Information on the endorsement process of the Draft Ministerial Decision on Resuming the Negotiations on a Legally Binding Agreement on Forests in Europe
6. Any other business 
7. Closure of the meeting
