The EU Commission President letter to UEF!

In September 8th, Michael Diemer, president of UEF, sent an E-mail to Mrs Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Union Commission about the new EU forest strategy and pointed some crucial points to have in mind:

  • a multifunctionnal sustainable forest management

  • a new financing system in European forests

  • a more coherent EU forest strategy

 

The 11 of December UEF received an long answer signed by:

  • Frans Timmermans, executive vice president of the EU Commission

  • Janusz  Wojciechowski, member of the EU Commission

  • Virginijus Sinkeviciusmember of the EU Commission.

 

You'll find this letter attached.

And you'll be able to read what are the objectives of the EU Commission regarding the coming new European Union forest strategy.

 

In a close future, we'll all be able to see the final result, after the adoption of the new EU forest strategy.
